A Pocket PC, abbreviated PPC, is a handheld-sized device which is run by a specific version
of the Windows CE operating system. In general software terms Pocket PC devices differ from
each other in versions of the Windows CE embedded in these devices. Therefore, Pocket PC devices
can be categorized by a specific version of the Windows CE.
On March 24, 2004 Microsoft introduced an update of the Windows Mobile 2003 software platform
for the Pocket PC code named Ozone Update, and officially called Windows Mobile 2003
